Inspiration Comes With A Bowl of Cereal

I woke up this morning to blue skies and a little furry kitty snuggled up in my armpit. What more could a girl wish for? Oh, and my fiance snoring next to me. Best alarm clock in the world.

He made up for it by bringing me cereal in bed when he woke up. Smart man.

As he walked in with a pink plastic bowl full of red fruits cereal with extra milk~ just the way I like it~ he asked to share something with me.

At first I thought it was going to be some crude video of guys lighting their farts on fire, which would be more typical, but to my surprise it was a really inspiring video of quotes by Jim Rohn.

It was such a great way to start off my year of Dreams.

His quotes are so inspirational and brilliant. At the same time they are every day things that we should remember yet we often forget. How to be the bigger person, how to use our intelligence, how to use our gentle hearts are the most simple and controllable things we can do that often go the greatest distance. Sometimes it just takes a little reminder from a breakfast date to open your heart back up to making a difference.

I will leave you with a small piece of this man's mind which has undoubtedly made this world a much better place.

"Sometimes you can't make it on your own. Combine your knowledge. None of us is smarter than ALL of us."

"Welcome greatness- it lives all around you"

"Choose to think the best about others. Choose to believe the best about others."

"Develop the ability to find the ability in others."

"Help others be liked. Help others be right. Help others be comfortable. Help others be winners."

"Get your ego out of the way."

"Inspire someone to be the best they can be."

"Commit to something bigger than yourself."

"Act as if what you do makes a difference. IT DOES!"

"Throw your heart over the bar and your body will follow."

"Never let weeds grow under your dreams. Never mistake knowledge for wisdom. Never chase a lie. Never laugh at anyone's dream. Never make excuses."

"Make promises sparingly. Keep them faithfully."

"Never kill and idea."

"Pursue character before prosperity."

"Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you don't have time to criticize others."

"Don't belittle. Be Big!"

"Learn to say NO to the good so you can say YES to the great."

"Never be ashamed of what you BELIEVE."

"Don't blow your own horn or you might miss the music."

"Let others lead small lives,
but not you.
Let others argue over small things,
but not you.
Let others leave their future in someone else's hands,
but not you."

"You're Alive! Live it that way."

Here is the link if you wish to watch the video and read more of his quotes.
