Weekend Recap

For those of you who did not want the tickets to see the Counting Crows play on Friday night, jokes on you.  It was one of the most incredible nights.  The weather was perfect and the stars were bright overhead the intimate little theater.  The movie was funny and Adam sounded absolutely incredible live.  He put on the most fabulous show that left me speechless.  The night would have been great either way because of the company but the whole evening turned out to be a great success.  I'm so happy we went.
I got my hair done too!  Whoa blondie!
Saturday I got to spend the day playing volleyball for charity.  It was a really cool event that was put on by JAYO charity where so many people, whether they be professional volleyball players, celebrities, or the 9-5 businessman, came and participated in an all day co-ed grass tournament along side of coaching kids in the morning.
My team won the tournament which is always a plus and I made a ton of new friends in and out of the volleyball world.  I can't wait for this event to be put on again next year!

Sunday was the best day this weekend.  I got to sit at my parent's house, relax on the sofa, and watch Sunday Night Football to celebrate my dad's birthday.  We finished the night off with some of my mom's famous pecan crusted chicken and my dad's favorite white cake with chocolate icing.  I haven't been able to eat since because I am still so full.
I think I covered all the bases this weekend.  I had a night of fun with friends, I got to participate in giving to charity, and I spent a day with family.  I am feeling pretty good right now.

Have I Told You Guys Yet That I Have A Workout Video?

I actually love the stuff I do in this video.  I mean, you would think so since I have been doing it since I was 12.  This routine is my religion when it comes to volleyball.  I love it, live it, and believe in it 100%.
But in honesty, feel free to laugh.  I certainly have had my fair share.  Never thought I would have done this in a million years.  Am I proud?  Sure.  Embarrassed? No question.
But who else can say they have workout video other than Richard Simmons and Carmen Electra's Poll Dance series?
I am now one of the lucky few :)

Happy Birthday To My Daddy!!!!

Dear Dad,
I hope you have the most fantastic birthday ever full of laughs, many backgammon wins, and hopefully mom lets you blow out the candles on your cake and eat it too.
You are absolutely the best and I am so grateful to have you in my life, even though a majority of the time was spent nagging me to do my homework and to follow the Beck motto:

never lie, cheat, or steal.

And regardless of the incessant speeches and countless debates of my youth, I wouldn't have changed a thing.  I admire who you are and what you have done and I LOVE YOU!

Happy Birthday Daddy Man!!!
For those of you who do not know my dad he is amazing!
I love him so dearly and I am so happy I still get to spend his birthdays together celebrating.  Even though he finds these days of celebration a semi-waste, I know he is excited to spend it with his family.
So here is to one of the most incredible people I have ever know!

Movie Premiere Under The Stars

So I have some great tickets for the movie premiere of
Freeloaders
tonight which will be debuted via drive-in style under the stars.  I am so excited and the Counting Crows will  be performing as well.  Unfortunately I had some friends bail last minute so I have a couple tickets if there is anyone interested in going.
Let me know ASAP

Didn't You Know???

Onesies are ALL the rage!!!
Yes, I might be reenacting Matt's and my first dance at our wedding but that's completely besides the point...
CHECK OUT THE ONESIE!!!

It's out.  I'm not as cool as everyone thinks I am.
Sorry Mom and Dad.

Hope this starts everyone off to a great weekend with a Smile.

Welcome October!

I have to admit, I am so excited that you are here.
Between you and me, Summer has been a serious disappointment and I am really hoping you can fulfill all of the wishes in my head for the perfect Fall.

Blemishes, Zits, and Oily Skin Be Gone

Favorite Beauty Product Numero Dos
I'm telling you, I would go nuts without this stuff and have horrible skin.  Any sign of a dot or redness or possibly a zit, I reluctantly wash my face and the next morning any signs of potential frustration are gone.  I seriously hate washing my face but this is like a miracle face wash!!
Don't take my word, try it for yourself.
